Dr Tezcan completed her specialist training in London. She has been working in the NHS as a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist since 2005. She has over 15 years experience in the specialty.

 

Berrin completed her Fetal Medicine training at King's College Hospital and she holds Diploma in Fetal Medicine awarded by Prof Kypros Nicolaides.

 

She then completed an MSc degree in Prenatal Genetics and Fetal Medicine at UCL (University College London) with distinction.

 

Dr Tezcan worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and London's major teaching hospitals. She has well established private practice both in central London and SE London. Berrin has been actively involved in the training and teaching of obstetricians and gynaecologists at all levels.

She is  a Member of the RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists). She also holds formal positions at the RCOG.

Her research interests include fetal growth restriction, prenatal diagnosis, multiple pregnancy, miscarriage, preterm birth, 4D scans, fetal wellbeing, high-risk pregnancies and women with complex medical disorders. She has many peer-reviewed publications and publishes and presents regularly. Learn more

 

Berrin is married with two children  (21 and 18 years old) and her sons study Computer Science and Economics at Stanford University ,  and at the University of Southern California in the US.  

 

Berrin enjoys spending time with her family and also enjoys swimming, running and playing tennis. She has successfully completed Hever Castle Triathlon, Vitality London 10000 (10k) 2016, ran for Children with Cancer UK and also she ran for Cancer Research UK, Race for Life 2017.
